Reference Map

For this assignment, I was tasked with creating a reference map of UB South Campus. This was a challenging but exciting opportunity for me to explore the campus and gain a better understanding of its layout. I spent a significant amount of time researching and gathering information about the campus, including its buildings, roads, and landmarks. Using this information, I crafted a detailed map that accurately portrays the campus's layout and features.

Site Analysis Diagram

I recently had the opportunity to create an infographic diagram about a popular shopping destination in Buffalo, New York called Eastern Hills Mall. To start the project, I conducted thorough research on the mall's history, features, and layout. Using this information, I created a detailed and visually appealing diagram that highlighted the mall's most efficient parking areas.

Infographics Project

I created an infographic that displays the busiest hours of Eastern Hills Mall in Buffalo, New York. To make this infographic, I analyzed data on foot traffic at the mall during different times of the day and week. Using this information, I designed a simple yet visually appealing chart that highlights the peak hours of customer traffic at the mall. I am happy with how the final infographic turned out, and I believe it provides valuable insight for both mall patrons and businesses operating within the mall.

Isometric Diagram

For a recent street redesign project on Main Street in Niagara, Buffalo, I used SketchUp to create an isometric diagram of the proposed changes. With SketchUp's 3D modeling capabilities, I was able to accurately visualize how the street would look after the redesign and showcase the different elements, such as new bike lanes, sidewalks, and public spaces. SketchUp allowed me to experiment with different design ideas and easily make modifications to the plan as needed.

Redesign Poster Project

I recently created a poster showcasing the redesign of a section of Main Street in Niagara, Buffalo. The poster features a detailed illustration of the street redesign, with a particular focus on a specific section of the street. Using design software, I was able to create an eye-catching and informative poster that effectively highlights the changes to this section of the street.

Mapping

In contrast to my previous projects for Main Street in Niagara, Buffalo, I also created a negative map that highlights the street's current shortcomings. The negative map focuses on areas that are unsafe or unpleasant for pedestrians, such as sections with high traffic volume or poor sidewalk conditions. By showcasing these issues, the negative map serves as a useful tool for identifying areas that need improvement and informing the street redesign process.
